Why does Netflix cancel popular shows? Why does Spotify remove popular features? Why does Instagram constantly change the algorithm to one that everyone hates?

Maybe these companies are simply out of touch with their users. Perhaps they’re oblivious to what their end users think about them. And so they’re ignorant about how people will react to their changes.

Or maybe they’re just stupid? Perhaps some corporate execs with no experience are making plain old bad decisions. It’s very possible!
